The State Property Fund Denies Deliveries of Ukrainian Titanium Raw Materials to the Russian Federation for the Production of Missiles

The State Property Fund (SPF) of Ukraine denies the supply of titanium raw materials to Russia for the production of aircraft and missiles through intermediary companies, as previously reported by the media. This was stated in the press service of the FGI.

The State Property Fund noted that the United Mining and Chemical Company, which is under their control, does not deliver to the Russian Federation. Since the autumn of 2022, the company has strengthened its export control measures and changed its approach to cooperation with buyers.

“The management of the company closely cooperates with law enforcement agencies – information on all supply chains, end users, as well as control over the use of products is carried out by employees of the UMC and representatives of law enforcement agencies. Also, the export of ilmenite concentrate to the end consumer occurs only when accompanied by authorized representatives of law enforcement agencies,” they comment in the press service of the FGI.

In particular, it is noted that the Hungarian company SIC LUCEAT LUX KFT, which the journalists mention in their material, has not cooperated with Russia since the beginning of a full-scale invasion.

And the Polish BioProfTech Sp. z oo, founded by a citizen of the Russian Federation, registered in the occupied Khartsyzsk, Donetsk region, bought raw materials for the final consumer from the United States. The State Property Fund notes that this information can be confirmed by documents.

“In most cases, the companies mentioned in the article bought trial batches of raw materials for end users in the United States, India, and Poland,” the press service of the State Property Fund reported.

Recall that on August 7, the publication “RBC-Ukraine” published an article about Ukrainian titanium raw materials, which through intermediary companies can enter Russia. Among the buyers of products are companies associated with the Russian Federation or having Russian founders. The media also suggested that the end consumer of Ukrainian titanium products could be military plants in Russia.

Focus reported earlier that on August 8, the administration of US President Joe Biden intends to announce the allocation of an additional amount of weapons to Ukraine for $ 200 million.
