By the morning of Friday, June 16, the Ukrainian military are fixed on the occupied lines near the city of Vuhledar, Donetsk region. In addition, they carried out offensive operations in two directions.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the summary of the speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrey Kovalev during a live broadcast from the Military Media Center in the telethon.
“Near the city of Vuhledar, Ukrainian soldiers were successful in certain areas. During the assault operations, they are fixed on the achieved lines,” he said.
In addition, as the speaker said, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out offensive operations in the directions – Novodanilovka-Robotino and Levadnoye-Staromayorskoye, and not in vain.
In addition, according to him, offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were also carried out in the area east of the settlement of Stupochki (Konstantinovsky district) of the Donetsk region.
“The Russian occupiers were ousted from their positions,” Kovalev stated.
Fighting in the area of Ugledar
On June 15, it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine were advancing in the Taurida direction. In particular, in the area of Ugledar, Donetsk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to get closer to the positions of the occupiers up to 1 km.
