Border guards near Bakhmut liquidated more than a dozen invaders. Ukrainian fighters caught the enemy at the time of the shift change.
It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
“The end of the working week is time for rest. But our border guards do not have days off. They continue to destroy the occupiers every day,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
According to law enforcement officers, in the Bakhmut direction, aerial reconnaissance of border guards established a replacement in the enemy unit. After that, the Ukrainian military worked on the enemy from mortar and artillery weapons.
“As a result, 8 invaders were killed and 6 wounded. Great job,” the ministry added.
Battles near Bakhmut
Bakhmut continues to be the epicenter of hostilities. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been conducting active counter-offensive operations in all directions for more than a week.
As General Alexander Syrsky said on June 16, the infidels are trying to put up “desperate resistance” to the offensive of Ukrainian troops in the Bakhmut direction. To do this, under the cover of artillery and aviation, the Russians levy reserves, but this does not prevent the Armed Forces of Ukraine from ousting the enemy on the outskirts of Bakhmut.
At the same time, the occupiers are conducting defensive battles in this direction, since “the ‘second army of the world’ is not capable of more.”
