The Russians again captured two villages on the Vremevsky ledge, which were liberated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the summer.
As military analyst for the Bild newspaper Julian Repke writes, these are Staromayorskoye and Urozhaynoe in the west of the Donetsk region near the border with Zaporozhye.
“Footage from a Ukrainian drone confirms Russian claims about the recapture of Staromayorsky and Urozhayny, liberated during the Ukrainian counter-offensive in late July and mid-August 2023. The footage shows Russian troops moving along the central streets and coming under fire from the north,” Röpke said .

Later, the Bild military analyst deleted the post about the Russian capture of Staromayorsky and Urozhayny.
